The TADC proudly presents its 37th Trial Academy
Trial Academy Co-Directors Christy Amuny, Germer, PLLC in Beaumont, and Dan Hernandez, Ray Pena McChristian in El Paso, have assembled a faculty of experienced attorneys and judges who will be giving their time to teach new attorneys by example and advice. Registrants will have the opportunity to observe and participate in cross and direct examination of experts and opening and closing statements. There will also be ethics presentations and “practical application” presentations by sitting Judges.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must be TADC members. Applicants are chosen on a first come, first served basis. Space is currently limited to 42 applicants; additional applicants will be placed on a stand-by list. PLEASE NOTE: The Trial Academy will fill quickly, so register today!
CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION:
Approximately 14.0 credit hours – a full year’s worth of CLE in one weekend!

Registration Fee: $795.00
Includes:
- Friday, February 23 All day Trial Practice/CLE session, 8 AM – 5 PM
- Cocktail Reception, 5 PM – 6:30 PM
- Saturday, February 24 All day Trial Practice/CLE session, 8 AM – 4 PM
- Demonstration of direct and cross examination of Expert Witnesses, opening and closing statements, critique and lectures by faculty, all group meals including breakfast and lunch on Friday & Saturday, and written materials. PLEASE NOTE: The TADC registration fee DOES NOT include hotel accommodations.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Registration fees will be refunded ONLY if a written cancellation notice is received at least seven (10) days prior to the meeting date (by February 13, 2024), and all Trial Academy materials received by the applicant are returned to the TADC. A $200.00 administrative fee will be deducted from any refund. Any cancellation made after February 13, 2024 will not be refunded. If an accepted applicant cannot attend, his/her firm may substitute another applicant.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
TADC has secured a room block with the Springhill Suites Downtown Houston for Thursday and Friday evenings. Upon acceptance, registrants will receive a confirmation from the TADC office. IT IS UP TO THE REGISTRANT TO RESERVE A ROOM by calling (844) 683-8959 and asking for the TADC Trial Academy Room Block OR register with the PASSKEY RESERVATION LINK. The room rate is $169.00 (single or double).
